This unit is owned by the Adventure Campers photographer, and is featured in the brochures, magazine advertising & on the website.

It is 2yrs old, and has done about 15,000km, including 1 outback trip as seen on the Adventure DVD. The unit is in good condition, but not 'new' condition. (And it has been offroad, unlike every used 4wd ever sold ;)
Everything on the trailer is in perfect working order, the only things that separate this trailer from a new one are basically cosmetic. The 'non new' items are listed below.
Canvas: All in perfect condition except for the roof, which has very faint mildew spots. They can only be seen from the inside with bright sun outside. The mildew was picked up a year ago (upon leaving the wet canvas packed away too long), and hasn't progressed since. (In fact I think it's reduced)
Jockey Wheel: A brand new jockey wheel is in place, the jockey wheel clamp has taken a beating and needs another beating to get back into the right place. The wheel is held at an angle.

Fridge Box: Aluminium Finish has been acid etched, and so doesn't have the shine it once did.
Awning Box: We were hit with a big hail storm on the Gold Coast last year, which put a few dings in the awning box.
Stone Guard: 3 cm tear in middle of mesh.

Stone Chips & Rust: There are stone chips here and there, and rust here & there, but neither is significant.
Don't get me wrong, the trailer is in great shape, I just want to point out the couple of things that are less than perfect. If you can live with these few items, then you can save about $11,000 off new price, which isn't bad :)

High Resolution Gallery:
In complete contrast to my usual photography, where I try to make everything look as good as I can, this gallery will show you high resolution images of the few problems listed above. I haven't taken any 'good' photos of the trailer, as probably every photo of a pilbara you've ever seen is of my trailer :) (And I could shoot it to look like new anyway, so there's little point ;) |
